Chiefs Mock Draft

Chiefs Mock Draft Breakdown: Addressing Needs with Smart Picks I came across a  Chat Sports mock draft  that absolutely nailed Kansas City’s biggest needs—let’s break down these selections and why they make sense for the reigning AFC champs. Round 1, Pick 31: OL Graham "Grey" Zabel (North Dakota State) Why It Works:  Zabel brings  positional versatility —a must for Andy Reid’s system. He’s likely a guard early but has the frame (6’6", 315 lbs) to develop into a tackle. Chiefs Fit:  With Joe Thuney’s recent departure and no long-term answer at RT, Zabel provides stability. His small-school pedigree mirrors past KC successes. Round 2, Pick 63: WR Jaylin Noel (Iowa State) Why It Works:  Noel is a  slot specialist  with elite separation skills (81.3% catch rate in 2023). After losing JuJu, KC needs a reliable underneath target for Mahomes. Chiefs Fit:  Imagine him in the Kadarius Toney role—but with  actual hands . His 4.45 speed and ...

Chiefs Offseason

Blog Post #2:  Post a photo with a caption The Chiefs new LT Jaylon Moore who signed on Mar 10th on a two year 30m dollar deal The chiefs hope this solves there LT problem that really seemed to plague them last season Chiefs’ Low-Risk, High-Reward Signing: OT Jaylon Moore This is exactly the kind of move I wanted. With so much pressure to "fix" the LT this offseason, I was nervous the Chiefs would overspend on a big-name tackle. Instead, they made a savvy, under-the-radar signing:  former 49ers OT Jaylon Moore . Why This Makes Sense for KC ✔  Affordable Depth ✔  Trent Williams’ Shadow ✔  Scheme Familiarity My Take Moore isn’t a flashy signing, but he’s a  smart one . He’ll likely be predicted to start against previous tackle Wanya Morris.  Grade: B+  Not a game-changer, but exactly what a cap-strapped contender needs.
