Chiefs’ Low-Risk, High-Reward Signing: OT Jaylon Moore

This is exactly the kind of move I wanted.

With so much pressure to "fix" the LT this offseason, I was nervous the Chiefs would overspend on a big-name tackle. Instead, they made a savvy, under-the-radar signing: former 49ers OT Jaylon Moore.

Why This Makes Sense for KC

✔ Affordable Depth
✔ Trent Williams’ Shadow
✔ Scheme Familiarity

My Take

Moore isn’t a flashy signing, but he’s a smart one. He’ll likely be predicted to start against previous tackle Wanya Morris. 

Grade: B+ Not a game-changer, but exactly what a cap-strapped contender needs.
